History of ApiHealth NZ Ltd is starting from former company Scientific Technology and Ecology Ltd. , which was founded in New Zealand in January 1998 and at the end of that year became a Winner of Bank of New Zealand Waitakere Eco City Business Awards in two categories: "Best New Business" and "Innovative Business".

ApiHealth New Zealand Ltd was set up for the purpose of development and manufacturing new health bee products. Brand name "ApiHealth™" is used for marketing and promoting innovative health products made with use of different natural ingredients, including bee venom and other bee products, different kind of herbal extracts.
