The unique protective properties of NZ Propolis in combination with Echinacea Extract and Vitamin C will support your Respiratory and Immunity Health.

ApiHealth New Zealand Propolis Extract chewable tablets is a new and natural product of New Zealand. ApiHealth used an innovative approach for the manufacturing of biologically active propolis powder. The technology is based on the bio-adsorption process, allowing the manufacture of dry propolis extract with all preserved active ingredients responsible for the beneficial properties.

NZ Propolis is "recognized as a powerful, all-natural protector". This sticky, brown resinous substance is collected by honeybees from various trees and mixed with wax. Bees use propolis to sterilize their home against infection and as a multi-purpose cement and varnish.

Propolis is the only food on earth containing all 22 nutrients needed by the body for complete and perfect health. It   contains over 16 different vitamins, rich in amino acids and trace elements; it also has a high vitamin content,   including the valuable bioflavonoids and all in complete and natural balance.

The bioflavonoids in propolis make it super biological active. Scientifically proved, that Propolis strengthens and rejuvenates the immune system, which is the body’s defense system against disease, cellular destruction, and aging. Therefore, propolis is very beneficial for winter wellness.

The value of propolis as a perfect food as well as its medicinal and restorative properties has been hailed by scientists, researchers, and health & nutrition practitioners all around the world.

Echinacea is a native plant used as a traditional herbal remedy for more than 400 years by the Great Plains Indian tribes.  Echinacea contains an impressive variety of active compounds, such as caffeic acid, alkamides, phenolic acids, rosmarinic acid, polyacetylenes, and many more. Some of these compounds may have antimicrobial and antiviral properties, while others may support the immune system in other ways.

So, alkamides enhance antioxidant activity and help antioxidants better reach molecules that are prone to oxidative   stress. Phenols control the activity of a range of enzymes and cell receptors.

Echinacea is best known for its beneficial effects on the immune system.

Numerous studies have found that Echinacea strengthening the immune system and can be used as an   immunomodulator improving the activity of different immune cells which may help the immune system combat   infections and viruses, which could help recover faster from illness. That is one reason why echinacea is often used to   prevent or treat the common cold.

Vitamin C is a vital nutrient for health. It helps form and maintains bones, skin, and blood vessels. It is also an antioxidant. Vitamin C occurs naturally in some foods, especially fruits and vegetables. Vitamin C supplements are also available.

Other names for vitamin C include L-ascorbic acid, ascorbic acid, and L-ascorbate. Vitamin C is water-soluble, and the  body does not store it. To maintain adequate levels of vitamin C, people need to consume food that contains it every day. The main reason people take vitamin C supplements is to boost their immunity, as vitamin C is involved in many parts of the immune system.
